You heard it from the Scoop first: Dominium is hosting a sneak preview tour of the new Schmidt Artist Lofts at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9.
St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman is among the invited attendees. Dominium, a development company based in Plymouth, Minn., has been converting the landmark Schmidt Brewery into 247 affordable apartment rentals, from studios to three-bedrooms, all of them income-restricted and geared toward artists.
Loft reservations began Aug. 19. They’re booking apartments online at http://schmidtartistlofts.com/, with a likely move-in date this winter.
