A portion of the Gateway State Trail in St. Paul between L’Orient Street and Cayuga Street is expected to reopen by the end of Thursday, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The trail has been closed as part of the nearby Interstate-35E Cayuga reconstruction project and is opening a week earlier than the original Nov. 28 expected date.
The construction will continue to block access to the trail from the east side of I-35E at Case Avenue/Mississippi Street.
